My Personal Journey with Blender

I decided to document my journey with Blender.
According to my file history I downloaded Blender 2.64 on 11/18/2012.
2.65 on 12/22/2012
2.67 on 6/27/13
I probably upgraded sequentially through the next few.
My blogspot tells me that

Big Mistake

On April 5, my band fired me. Big mistake. Now I have to recreate myself as a musician and make more money. What were they thinking? Thanks to you I will have to make more money than I did before.

16 Cook Street Liverpool

"I started working on 16 Cook St Liverpool last week. I had no good 2d elevation and only a few decent online photos of it, and a street level view of it from google."

Shingy Street

I started Shingy Street back on...I'm not really sure. The earliest image is from Dec 24, 2013.  The Brownstone is dated to Jan 18. So sometimes in January it developed. Funny, it seems like a longer time ago than that.
Sooo. The Brownstone is not done to scale. Shingy Street's buildings are not done to scale.

So today, after several days of gigging, I tried to conquer one basic thing:
How to make light emitters invisible in Blender's cycles render.

(I've been using this ever since)

Wheels and the Oil Tanker

I realized today I made a mistake on the wheels of the CS passenger. When I started a new file, using the wheels and basic lines as a template, I saw the distance between the inner "rails" to be NOT 4' 8.5".

Had a massive hard drive failure Feb 28. Had many warnings.

Bought a new hard drive March 1 and took the old one out.
March 2 took it to Tiger Direct for OS and drivers.
March 3 got it back.

Bought BlacX hard drive reader.....
Works great. Couple of days later salvaged the hard drive from Emachines. Audio until Feb 2 2013.

The virus told the hard drive all your folders are empty.
